“Rising from the Ashes” Music Festival, September 2026

Our small predominantly black community was devastated by the Mill Fire on Sept 2, 2022. The fire that started at the Roseburg Lumber Mill, fueled by epic high winds tore through the Lincoln Heights neighborhood rapidly destroying 84 homes in the Heights and many homes in the neighboring community of Lake Shastina.

Our small organization was started shortly after the fire by impacted Lincoln Heights members in an effort to support their friends, family, and neighbors who lost everything. From the initial support of donated money, gift cards, meals, clothing, and more by generous friends, family, neighbors and strangers from near and far, we continued to work to become a federally recognized 501(c)(3) to support the community as families started to return to the fire scarred Lincoln Heights as homes began to be re-built.

In alignment with our mission,

We envision having a community garden space, senior and resident services such as shuttle services (medical appts., out of town shopping & activities, etc.), college scholarships to College of the Siskiyous, and more. Your donations and festival sponsorships will help us realize our mission projects.
